The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) will temporarily change the disinfectant in its water treatment process from March 6 through April 3, 2023. Detailed information of the process as well as Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) are available by clicking on the links.

Water Conservation Recommendations

The NTMWD is encouraging customers to actively manage and conserve as landscape watering increases. Customers may sign up for free weekly watering advice customized for your location and sent to your email or phone at WaterMyYard. The advice is based on local weather data and plant water needs.

Water Conservation Tips:

1. Repair leaking faucets, pipes, toilets, etc.

2. Install water saving devices in faucets, toilets and appliances.

3. Wash only full loads of laundry.

4. Run dishwasher only when full.

5. Water the lawn and garden as little as possible.

6. Follow water restrictions carefully.

7. Do not water between the hours of 10 am and 5 pm.
